                Hey Anomalies ,, ℐ hope you're having a good Wednesday . ℐ did it . . ℐ cut bangs ! . . well , ℐ guess

        you could call them micro bangs . ℐ severely underestimated how much the shrinkage of my curls would
        effect them . ℐ apologize for the mugshot-ish photo , but ℐ really wanted to show you guys . However , if

        you could , do NOT lean into that impulse of cutting bangs . ℐ regret it very much n' ℐ shall not be leaving

        my coffin for 6-12 business days ( ℐ have school tomorrow ) . ℐ don't know what I was thinking , ℐ literally
        grabbed the scissors n' started snipping away after watching a tutorial . Ughh ! Well , it's in the past &&
        now . . ℐ must endure && take pride in the micro bang . 

        This is honestly the craziest thing ℐ've ever done n'
    now ℐ have to look like this for 1-2 weeks until my
    hair starts growing back out .  Not me making it sound
    like ℐ shaved my entire head , aghhh ! ℐ need to stop

    thinking so much about it . Anyways . . ℐ've been reading
    up && checking out other blogs lately and ℐ'm truly
    falling in love with this community . The girlblogging
    community holds so much warmth n' a sense of freedom
    in embracing yourself and your femininity . ℐ'm also put
    on to all sorts of interesting media ! My TBR is bursting
    at the seams and ℐ've got plenty more movies &&
    shows to watch . And of course as ℐ'm writing this , ℐ

    remember the honorlock exam that I have to study for !

             ℐ genuinely wish that ℐ could just girlblog and intake vampire n' ghostly media all day . Until we
        meet again ! ℐ wish everyone luck on all that they have to do for the rest of this week . And remember ,

        do NOT give into the impulse of cutting your own bangs .

                Good Evening Anomalies ,, ℐ hope your week started off well . ℐ'm on my 3rd day of fall break .
        However ℐ'm quite mournful because ℐ've only got two more days left of it && ℐ don't think ℐ'll be
        able to face the world quite yet . . ( ℐ only have to go to school and work once this week n' then it will
        be the weekend again ) . Anyway , ℐ actually have an assignment due at 11:59 tonight but ℐ decided to

        do it last minute . Nothing vigorous , just a simple discussion post is all . The night is the only time ℐ
        feel ℐ could really do things . ℐ'm not expected anywhere , no one to see , and no one to feel as if ℐ have

        to perform for . ℐ enjoy the quiet and safety of my bedroom . . the warm fairy lights surrounding my 
        favorite tapestry , my vanilla candle lit beside me , and a true crime or horror podcast playing in the 
        background . That's all a girl could ever need .

                As for what might transpire after my homework ,
        let's just say bangs may or may not be cut due to my
        impulsive behavior . Have ℐ ever cut bangs before ?

        Not at all . Do I whole-heartedly believe that a tiktok
        tutorial will suffice ? Yes , I do . Am ℐ worried that it

        might look a lil funky because my hair is curly n' it
        may come out all wrong ? Of course . But , will ℐ let

        that stop me ? No . . ℐ feel too convinced that ℐ have

        to do this ahh !! On top of that , ℐ need a tattoo in the

        most ethereal cursive handwriting across my outer
        forearm && composite bonded vampire teeth . . add
        tooth gems n' long vampiric looking nails . Wait . .
        ℐ could genuinely ask for all these things as my
        presents this year ?! 

                This is my promise to myself n' anyone who may be reading this , that  ℐ will come out

        this metamorphous stage ( the months October through December ) a new person . ℐ shall be reborn 
        anew , a soft gothic little vampiric angel bat with the most beautiful n' long , curly black hair anyone
        has ever seen . Okay . . ℐ really must do my homework now . ℐ'll make sure to give you guys little
        updates of my transformation lol ,, ℐ'll most likely post any pics n' vids on my tiktok or tiktok story !

┃  Dark Shadows (2012)  ┃

            Hello Anomalies ,, guess who just watched Dark Shadows for the very first time . . me !!! literally all ℐ
     could think of is . . why didn't ℐ watch this movie sooner ? ℐ'm immensely in love with the cinematography

     of this film && the take on vampires . Not only was it dark n' romantic , but it was pretty humorous as
     well . One of my favorite scenes is where they cut to Barnabas Collins standing under the fluorescent
     lights of the illuminating McDonalds sign .   

    Oh to be dwelling in a huge gothic mansion within a
reality where supernatural creatures exist . Might ℐ add ,
as well as being hauntingly beautiful in a Tim Burton
way . It's funny . A movie ℐ've never watched before but
being hit with so much nostalgia and deja-vu . In the
sense that I've witnessed this beautiful nature before . ℐ
automatically began to think of Burton's other films that
ℐ had seen . . Alice in Wonderland , Beetle-Juice , James
and the Giant Peach , Sleepy Hollow etc. His art has 
impacted so many , and ℐ , one of those people .  

    

            My favorite characters would be Victoria Winters and Angelique Bouchard . First off, ℐ admire

    Victoria because of her kind nature despite the traumas she has gone through . She perceives and
    understands the peculiarities of the world that not many have the open-mindedness to understand . No
    matter how she was treated or what she was told , she never allowed it to taint her soul .  

           Then , we have Angelique . Despite her being evil
    , even quite baneful , no one can deny her dark n'
    feminine power . She's a very powerful witch && she
    walked n' radiated with so much confidence because
    she knew that ! ℐ need a full movie dedicated to her

    and her story ,, that would be so interesting to watch .
    In the end , all she wanted was love . . the true love of
    someone she wished would love her back . Her end
    was so devastating , my heart broke for her . The way
    she physically shattered . . The way she took her heart
    out and gave it to Barnabas . . someone take me away
    from this place .

            10000000/10 rating according to my books . This movie will now forever haunt me . It was so good
    that it's now been added to the long list of movies ℐ have to rewatch during the time period of September-

    December . . . Hurry guys !! how to dream in Tim Burton's film grain no borax no glue . If anyone has any
    film or book recommendations related or similar to this one , ℐ'd love to see them . There's a lot of movies

    that ℐ haven't seen yet or rewatched myself as ℐ've gotten older . So , be prepared for more !!

　　          those who are experienced within the community immensely stress the need for research before anything !

              I found that it's really important to seek out information yourself before trusting something I read in a book or

              seen in a tiktok . I really had to get down to the basics of what even is witchcraft ? what are my exact intentions

              when entering the space ? what are closed / open practices ? what are my boundaries / lines that I'm either not 

              willing or willing to cross ? there's a lot of simple , yet complicated questions I've begun to face before truly 

                 considering myself as an individual who practices witchcraft / magic . . especially , before doing it myself .⠀ ⠀

　　　       　　ⵌ two ,　protection , protection , protection !　⊹ ࣪ ˖ ᨳ໒

　　            after I felt that I was ready to start trying some things out (spellwork , candle magic , etc.) , I learned that

             before any of that , protection comes first . I need to be covered by protection before , during , and after anything

             I choose to do . Quite literally every thing and person I read , listened to , or watched spoke about protection as a

             huge topic . I don't know about you . . but , that is something I can't ignore . Honestly , you shouldn't either . So ,

             if you haven't done that protection spell , made a protection candle , and or warded your name . . you should do

             that sooner rather than later .

　　            before and especially during the very beginning , I was becoming quite overwhelmed with the information

             that I was intaking . there's so much I have to still research / learn about , spells n' magic that I want to dive into , 

             and so much more . I sorta felt that I had to get to this level of prestigious knowledge to finally dip myself in . but ,

             that's when I had to tell myself that there's no rush ! I can still learn and also do at my own pace . There's so many

             layers to this practice , and to think that I'm just gonna get it all in one sitting is quite unrealistic . I had to reasure

             myself that I'm not ahead nor behind , I'm right where I need to be and that's okay :)

                        As someone who usually used tumblr as a blogging platform , making this blog was

        genuinely one of the hardest things ℐ've ever done .Though , ℐ'm very glad that ℐ've powered

        through the frustration ⊹ ࣪ ˖ There's still so much more that ℐ want to add , still so much more to be

        done . Slowly but surely , 𝓎ou'll see much more added within the tabs of the blog . ℐ'm not sure if
